This checklist goes over the periodical maintenance required for maintaining the W&H Assistina 301 Plus. A new face in dental handpiece reprocessing from W&H. This checklist will go over the required maintenance steps for daily, weekly, bi-monthly, every 7,000 cycles and every year (or as needed) maintenance.

W&H Assistina 301 Plus PM Checklist
Daily
Clean Exterior & Check Function Display
1 – Check the function display
2 – Clean the cover and the waste disposal tray. Check for unit cleanliness and clean as necessary.
3 – Disinfect surrounding area with Optim 1 Disinfectant

Weekly
Clean Exterior & Check Level Displays
1 – Clean the outside of the case with W&H Cleaning Liquid MC-1000.
2 – Check the filling level displays.
3 – Disinfect surrounding area with Optim 1 Disinfectant.

Bi-Monthly
Check the O-rings on the maintenance attachment.
1 – Change the O-rings in the event of visible defects or every two months.
2 – Replace damaged or leaking O-rings IMMEDIATELY!
3 – Replace any missing O-rings IMMEDIATELY!
Firmly squeeze the O-ring between thumb and forefinger and pull it off. Push on a new O-ring. The O-rings can be exchanged without the need for special tools. Grease-free fingers will facilitate this exchange.

7,000 Cycles or As-Needed
Renewing the Filter Pack
1 – Renew the filter pack in the suction filter after approx. 7,000 maintenance cycles corresponds to the consumption of a 500 ml bottle of W&H service oil).

Yearly or As-Needed
Function & Filter Check
1 – Carry out a function check
2 – Check the fine filter in the air connection hose for contamination. Replace the air filter whenever it is dirty or at least 1x per year.
