Midmark M9/M11 Error Code C010
In this article, we’re going to explain one of the many error codes that can affect your Midmark M9/Midmark M11 autoclave. This article will focus specifically on error code C010. We’ll tell you about the problem, what displays when the error occurs, its possible causes, and the course of action to take to resolve said error.

C010: POWER MODE SYSTEM POWER LOSS
ITEMS NOT STERILE
PUSH STOP TO RESTART
Causes, Checks and Actions
Possible Cause 1: Power interruption. (Unit lost power for a few seconds during Fill, Heat-Up, or Sterilization Mode.)
- Check: Check power cord connections. (Power interruption could be due to an electrical storm, brown out, etc.)
- Action A: Secure power cord connections. (At wall outlet & at sterilizer receptacle)
- Action B: Unplug unit for 60 seconds, then plug unit into a dedicated, properly rated circuit.
Possible Cause 2: Loose / Damaged wire connections.
- Check: Check AC terminals and connections at J5 on main PC board
- Action: Secure / Repair loose or damaged connections.
Possible Cause 3: Power cord/receptacle damaged.
- Check: Inspect condition of power cord/ receptacle.
- Action: Replace power cord/ receptacle.
Possible Cause 4: Ribbon cable loose or damaged.
- Check: If unit is beeping/clicking with no display. (or display cuts out)
- Action: Secure/replace ribbon harness.
Possible Cause 5: Display PC compromised.
- Check: Check for damaged pins/connection to ribbon cable.
- Action: Replace display PC board.
Possible Cause 6: Error Code will not reset.
- Check: Unit must be unplugged for 60 seconds.
- Action: Replace Main PC board.
