Sterilizer Autoclave Solutions Partnered with Enbio

The Partnership Between SAS and Enbio

Partnering with a big business or manufacturer can provide huge benefits to your company. Having a benefactor not only offers support but also allows you exclusive career advantages. Here at Sterilizer Autoclave Solutions, we know all about how advantageous these opportunities can be. Recently our company was given an opportunity which allowed us to expand, and we wouldn’t trade it for the world. If you’ve been following our content, you may have noticed, but now we can finally reveal what we have been working on. Us here at Sterilizer Autoclave Solutions have been given the incredible chance to partner with the Swedish autoclave manufacturer, Enbio.

Three months ago, a couple of our team members took a trip to the Enbio facilities in Poland. With the help from official technicians, they learned the ins and outs of Enbio’s trademark machine, the Enbio S: a fast, easy-to-use, and simple-setup, European exclusive autoclave. However, after representing the company name, Enbio decided we have something great to contribute based on our numbers and growth. And after all their hard work, our team came back to the states with our new title as the first United States authorized warranty and service center for the Enbio S.

To explain how great this all is, first let’s talk about Enbio themselves.

What is Enbio

Enbio is the name of the autoclave manufacturer, making every one of their stellar Enbio machines directly in Switzerland. They’re the creators and manufacturers of the fast Enbio autocalves such as the Enbio S and the Enbio PRO. And these autoclaves even got them the Red Dot award for their design. The autoclaves and Enbio itself are backed by 30 years of biotechnology and industrial hydroponics experience. They have an expanding network of 3 logistics and service centers located in Europe, the United States and the Middle East.

And from Enbio themselves: Enbio products are created from the ground up, by our in-house team of industrial designers, structural engineers, and software developers, constantly playing between laws of physics and the impossible. Our core values are simplicity, human centered design, and technical perfection.

Now that you know about Enbio, let’s get a refresher course on their now stateside-adored autoclave, the Enbio S.

The Enbio SThe EnbioS Automatic Cassette Sterilizer with the tray open.

The Enbio S is one of the trademark machines of Enbio. This sleek sterilizer recently came stateside and is now accessible to anyone. We’ve talked in length about the specifics of what makes this machine a top tier choice in autoclaves. But we’d be happy to sing its praises again to show you just how good these machines actually are. When compared to usual autoclaves, they come in all shapes and sizes. Usually size is an indicator that they can hold more tools, but it may take slightly more time than their smaller counterparts. This does offer variety to fit the needs of the buyer which is a good thing. But sometimes not everyone wants that trade off of size or speed. Thankfully, the Enbio S sports both a sleek, non-intrusive modern shell and speed to rival the greats.

The Setup Process

One of the greatest selling points of the Enbio S is accessibility and ease-of-use. And that starts with the setup right out of the box. With only 5 items to worry about including the machine, there’s nothing to worry about. Inside the box you’ll get the Enbio S unit and plug, a USB Drive and a Biological Filter. But we’ll also give you a Sterilizer Autoclave Solutions exclusive, as we’re the only authorized service center for the Enbio S with a waste bottle solution.

Finding a space to put your Enbio S and connecting everything is simple. All connection ports for the waste bottles, USB and Bio Filter are all located in the back for ease of access and when you don’t need it it’s out of the way. Our setup guide for the Enbio S is one of the shortest we have for any autoclave on our site. If that doesn’t scream simple then we don’t know what will.

Size

The Enbio S is well known for its size, being that it’s listed as being compact. With outer dimension measurements of 22 x 9.8 x 6.3 in it can fit any interior space you want to make for it. And the highly acclaimed size doesn’t just go for the outside, but also the inside. It has the space for all the standard tools, in their packaging or without it. It sports a chamber volume of 2.7L, which holds up to 8 packages with a max recommended weight of 1.1 lbs. To some, that may not seem like very much, but with its sterilization speeds, you won’t be worried about how much is in one cycle. Just what you’re going to put in for the next one.

Sterilization

The speed of the Enbio S is another excellent talking point about this already incredible machine. And with it being a Class B, that kind of power opens up a whole host of other benefits now and possibly even in the future. For reference, a Class B Sterilizer is a high level steam sterilizer that uses a vacuum pump to remove air/steam mixtures from the chamber prior to sterilization cycle beginning . This process can remove 99% of the air inside of the chamber before the temperature and pressure increases to it’s necessary parameters. And with Class B being the highest level of sterilization, considering that maybe one day the regulations change and Class B may be the only cycle type that’s required for medical sterilization. With the Enbio S, you’re already covered, since the Enbio S has 3 cycle types, 2 of which are Class B.

And the sterilization process is more streamlined than ever. Accessing your cycles with a user-friendly touch screen interface is just the beginning. With a one-password system, there’s nothing stopping you from logging in and selecting the cycle you need in record time. And being the fastest autoclave on the market, the Enbio S boasts fast sterilization cycle times. The wrapped cycle finishes in just 15 minutes. While the unwrapped cycle time is a swift 7, some of the fastest times in the market currently. All of that Class B power in a fraction of the time. Even with all of that speed, there’s no sacrifice in noise. The Enbio S operates at 32 db which is quieter than most coffee machines.  Once the quick cycles are complete, the Enbio S allows for data logging to the included USB Thumb drive that you plug into the back.

The sterilization process has never been simpler. Everything that the Enbio S can do was made with the user in mind. And we’d like to show you just how much we learned about that fact by showing you just what our team got up to on their trip to Poland.

The Partnership

In this portion of the article we’re going to tell you all about the trip to Poland that our team went on. An out-of-country trip that gave us one of the biggest opportunities we could’ve asked for. And it all starts with the group who went on this trip.

They were there for about a week, taking in as much info and training as they could.

They were taught how to deal with the Enbio S and its parts inside and out. Hands-on training from Enbio’s resident in-house techs. How to take it apart fully and reassemble it. And how to go about servicing any problems that it may have down the line. They spent the week gaining any and all knowledge they could to bring back home with them. I actually ended up asking one of the people from the trip team what the difference was between getting that hands-on knowledge as opposed to cracking open the technician’s books and asking that way. Here’s what they had to say:

“From a purely theory perspective, technicians books / manuals and other types of in classroom training (which was the first step at Enbio) provide a solid foundation based on theory of how the equipment is designed / engineered and should operate.  It also shows the different failure modes (cycle errors) that are accounted for in the design and engineering of the equipment.

Hands on allows technicians to experience all the ways the machine fails at operating the way it was designed / engineered.  Both are critical to understanding and being able to work on equipment.

Unfortunately, most trainings only rely on classroom theory and leave the technicians to go experience the hands-on failures later, leaving many of the classroom learnings behind and forgotten.  Enbio provided both, allowing the theory to be reinforced with practical experience and vice versa.”

The training they received while in Poland is second-to-none. There’s no better place to learn than directly from the source. And when all was said and done, they came back to SAS with more than they left with.

We walked away with several new Enbio official certified employees. Some of which are listed above. Ready and willing to help you with anything relating to your Enbio S.

And a certificate that Sterilizer Autoclave Solutions is now an official U.S. service provider for Enbio.

What Our Partnership Means for You

We gained a new partnership with Enbio that allowed us to be the first to market with them from the U.S. We had the ability to introduce one of the best and fastest autoclaves in Europe to the industry in the States before anyone. And our authorized technicians helped us put out a wealth of content to assist the end-user. From setting up the unit to looking out for any signs of needed maintenance. And being an authorized center means that we can also handle official replacement parts and warranties for your Enbio S. So that means, not only can you purchase an Enbio S directly from us, but our technicians can help officially service your unit should the need arise.  And Sterilizer Autoclave Solutions currently has the only waste bottle solution for the Enbio S available to you. All available with your purchase of the Enbio S. We noticed that there wasn’t an official solution or product to help. So we came up with a solution that we knew would help our customers.

Our tech support programs will be available to you any time you need them. Your Enbio S autoclaves can be officially serviced by us and we can even handle your warranties.
