Continuing our series of checklists, today we’re moving on to the Enbio S autoclave. The Enbio S is one of the fastest autoclaves on the market. Bringing you efficiency reliability in a small-yet sleek package. So in this article, we’re going to go over its preventative maintenance checklist. What you need and when you need it to keep it functioning at 100%. And doing everything we can to extend the life of your autoclave for as long as possible. The Preventative Maintenance

Daily

This is the daily maintenance that should be done at the end of each and every day. 

  • Clean Door Gasket 
  • Empty the waste bole every me you refill the reservoir 
  • Check distilled water and waste water boles 
  • Wipe surrounding area with Optim1 disinfecting wipes

Weekly

Weekly maintenance on your Enbio S consists of things like cleaning the interior of your unit.

  • Clean the internal part of the tray with dishwashing soap or a mild detergent that does not contain chlorine. After cleaning the tray must be thoroughly washed with water. Dry the tray before reinstalling. 
  • Clean the interior of the process chamber with dishwashing soap or a mild detergent that does not contain chlorine. After cleaning wipe the chamber with a soft cloth until dry.

After 100 Performed Processes

This is the maintenance on your Enbio S that should be done after 100 processes (cycles) performed with your autoclave. 

  • Clean the seal. Use warm water and a microfiber cloth (microfiber with silver particles is acceptable) to clean the device. Use of dull or sharp cleaning tools is not acceptable. Cleaning with chemical agents is not acceptable. 
  • Perform the cleaning when the device has cooled down. After opening the drawer maintain caution and do not bend the drawer. After cleaning, leave the device open until the seal dries.

Yearly Maintenance

This is the maintenance that is to be performed on your Enbio S once every year using the PM package.

  • Periodic maintenance is performed annually, or after 1000 processes (whichever comes sooner) 

Yearly preventative maintenance needs to be performed by an Enbio Approved Service Technician.
