Solmetex NXT DryVac Operation Guide
Recently, we wrote an article going over one of Solmetex’s new products we’ve added to our lineup, their NXT DryVac Tankless Dry Vacuum. It’s here and it’s been making
waves in dental vacuum systems. And in our usual fashion, we release a series of guides for proper installation, operation and maintenance. We’ve completed our installation guide for the NXT DryVac which you can find here on our site.
So now, we move on to the Solmetex NXT DryVac Operation Guide. In this article, we’ll go over the official manufacturers instructions on how to properly operate your Solmetex NXT DryVac Tankless Dry Vacuum.
Operation
- Switch on the office and the protection switch of the control box.
- The suction flow at the HVE should be at least 7 cfm (200 l/min).
Adjustments cannot be made! Any adjustments done lead to a loss of warranty. The vacuum needs to be measured at the connection “Air in” with a vacuum measuring device.
- Suck 1 gallon (approx. 4 litres) of water and check that the DryVac central suction system (tankless dry vacuum system) is operating correctly.
- Undertake electrical safety checks as required by local code.
