Statim Cycle Fault 14: Sterilizer Autoclave Solutions (StatimUSA.com) here in Charlotte, North Carolina. We have a STATIM 2000 that was sent in for repair from California, recording a Statim Cycle Fault 14. Statim Cycle Fault 14 is when the steam generator or boiler temperature has reached or has gone above 171 degrees Celsius. If the boiler goes above 171 degrees Celsius, there’s a double thermal fuse underneath it. It’s got an insulated wire on there, but it runs underneath the boiler. If the fuses get above 160, they’re supposed to trip/blow, if this happens you will need to replace the double thermal fuse (we sell all scican statim 2000/5000 and G4 2000/5000 parts OEM parts). The next part of that Cycle Fault 14 error is the water pump. This is the old style water pump, so it has two built-in filters. One is mesh and it can get filled with all kinds of lint and other debris and the other filter is in front of the tube in the elbow, that is also mesh. You can take them apart (end user repair that we have a video for), you can clean the mesh out, and then you can try the water pump again to see if that solves the problem. If that does not solve the problem you can find the water pump at statimusa.com.
