VistaPure PM Checklist

Continuing our series of checklists, today we’re moving on to the VistaPure water filtration system. VistaPure provides a full, stellar water filtration system for your autoclaves. In an under-the-counter package, able to work hard and out of the way. So in this article, we’re going to go over its preventative maintenance checklist. What you need and when you need it to keep it functioning at 100%. And doing everything we can to extend the life of your filtration system for as long as possible. The Preventative Maintenance

Monthly Maintenance 

The monthly maintenance on your VistaPure pm checklist consists of checking the TDS levels. The maintenance checklist requires you to:

• Check TDS Levels: Details for testing, and the chart are included in the manual. 

4 Month – 3 Year Maintenance 

The 4 month to 3 year maintenance period has you change both deionization filters. You should:

• Deionization Filters (R3252 & R3253): Change BOTH deionization filters whenever the system-mounted TDS meter “OUT” displays a number equal to or greater than 4 parts per million (ppm).

Approx. 1 Year Maintenance

Every year, the VistaPure maintenance cycle has you changing the Prefilter and the Polishing Filter.

• Prefilter (R3251): Approximately one year (change at least annually.) 

• Polishing Filter (R3255): Approximately one year (change at least annually).

Every 3 – 5 Years

Maintenance that occurs every 3-5  years, consists of changing the Hyperfiltration filter.

• Hyperfiltration Element (R3254): Replace the hyperfiltration filter whenever the system-mounted TDS meter “IN” exceeds 10% of the TDS of the municipal water supply TO the system.
