How Does it Work?

One of the first things to go over is how this machine works. What does it do for you? For starters, the W&H Assistina Twin is classified as a “Handpiece Reprocessing Device.” It’s meant to process your handpieces that function with an adapter. Like a dental drill let’s say. It plugs in to a machine to run it when it’s in use. To maintain it with the Twin unit, you attach it to one of the chambers using that same adapter. Its job is to clean the handpiece you put into the adaptor. Getting rid of any debris that may be hiding within it. It does this by using new oil and nebulizing it before spraying it inside of the handpiece. 

Normally, to clean something like that with intricate parts, you’d have to set them yourself. But thanks to the mist, it cleans every inch of the inside without the need to do anything. Once the mist does its job, it’s suctioned out and passed through the HEPA filter this machine uses.

Part of the Assistina Twins’ list of great qualities is how fast it can process things. And it’s not just due in part to its speed. You could say it’s fast turnaround is also helped by how user-friendly it is. The Assistina Twin has a supremely easy setup process. Load your oil and fluid in through the required cartridges in the top and just put the cover back on. And to use it? Simply connect your dental tool to the adapter. And after a simple button press for 5 seconds, the filling process is initiated. And all you have to do is watch the indicator lights for when your cycle is done, and it’s time to switch chambers.
