What does Statim G4 Cycle Fault 26 Mean?

The sterilization phase has failed to start within 3 minutes of the cassette reaching the sterilization temperature.

NOTE: The unit has to fail on 3 consecutive cycles for CF26 to display. “CYCLE INTERRUPTED” will be displayed for the first 2 occurrences.

Probable Causes of Statim G4 Cycle Fault 26

1. Steam Leak
-To Repair This: Check for visible steam leaks from the cassette. If the cassette is leaking repair as needed, replace cassette seal, lid, or tray. -This is an End-user repair

2. Dirty Solenoid
-To Repair This: Check the solenoid for debris and make sure the plunger is not sticking. – This is an End-user repair

3. Thermocouple Error
-To Repair This: Calibrate Validation thermocouple. – This is a Field Service Tech. repair
