26210200 Propper OK-Sonic Ultrasonic Cleaning Verification Indicator – 100/pack
The OK-Sonic™ Ultrasonic Bath Monitor helps hospitals and labs verify that their ultrasonic cleaning machines are working correctly.
How It Works
- Mimics Real Dirt: The card features two blue test spots made of safe, synthetic proteins, fats, and sugars. These spots perfectly mimic the bio-burden left on medical instruments after patient use, without using real blood.
- Tests the Wash: Ultrasonic cleaners use sound waves to create tiny, powerful bubbles that scrub instruments clean. When you run a cycle, these bubbles—along with your detergent—slowly dissolve the blue spots.
Using the Holder
To get the most accurate test, insert the monitor into the OK-Sonic™ / WD chex™ Holder:
- The Covered Side: One blue spot stays partially covered. This simulates hard-to-clean areas like instrument hinges, cracks, or overlapping tools.
- The Open Side: The other blue spot is completely exposed. This simulates tools sitting out in the open cleaning basket.
The Result
If your cleaning machine is working perfectly, both blue spots will wash away completely by the end of the cycle. It is an easy, reliable way to ensure your tools are safe and ready for sterilization.
OK-Sonic™ Ultrasonic Bath Monitor is a vital part of your cleaning assurance program. OK-Sonic™ is suitable for hospital and industrial ultrasonic cleaners.
