The Sterisil® Antimicrobial Bottle is manufactured with a rechargeable, silver-ceramic coating that helps suppress bacterial growth on the internal surface of your dental water bottle system.

Depending on the type of water treatment regimen employed, dental water bottles may receive little to no exposure to the residual chemicals commonly used to suppress bacterial growth in dental unit waterlines. This is especially true with straw products since water in the bottle is untreated until it passes through the straw. In this scenario, you end up with a bottle whose internal surface is coated in biofilm. That bottle is now transferring it’s microbial load further downstream in the dental water bottle system, eroding your margin of safety from waterborne pathogens.
