Core Function & System Role
- Ultra-Pure Water Production: The filtered water is strictly used to run medical equipment like autoclaves, steam sterilizers, ultrasonic cleaners, and automated washer-disinfectors.
- Role: It acts as the final “polishing” mechanism to deliver ultra-pure, deionized, and demineralized (distilled-quality) process water. It does this by removing any remaining fine particles and impurities that remain after initial filtration..
In the standard SciCan STATPURE system layout, the filter operates in sequence with three other stages:
- Filter #1: Prefilter (SWP01F)
- Filter #2: Hyperfiltration (SWP02F)
- Filter #3: Deionization (SWP03F)
- Filter #4: Polishing (SWP04F)
